ha ha ha - I have one of those, too! Hey - have you ever used a weighted vest for your tyke? I'm interested in your experience. My 5 yr old is diagnosed "quirky" (ha!).
ps - I once read a biography on Einstein. He had 7 suits, all the same color, same style. Wore one each day. Even geniuses are quirky :)

Hi I haven't (he's 8 1/2 and downright refuses.) Heavy blankets have been great for us. I used to kind of push down on his shoulders a bit as we walked, and also found it really helpful whenever we play board games to encourage him to lay on his stomach propped up on his elbows. Basically anything that applies pressure to the joints works really well. (crab walks, wall-push-ups, etc...which worked well in "game" style when he was your son's age) Swimming works wonders as well...and for "fun" I used to lay on top of him. I was worried it would be too heavy for him, but he completely surprised me when he let out a big *sigh* and asked me to do it again.
