I think it's about "giveaway" time, don't you think?

In the spirit of all the wonderful giveaways that have been going on lately, I feel the time is right to host one of my own. Yes I have been a slave to the book as of late, but I am slowly (did I say slowly?) getting back into the swing of things as I continue to work away......and with that comes the addition of some new hoop pieces. I am really having fun doing something completely different, and would love to share one of them as a giveaway!
I would love to know a bit more about all of you, so please send me a message. What has been your favourite post so far? Leave a comment, and if you wouldn't mind linking this announcement to your own posting I will count you for two! ( just leave me a note and a link....I would love to get a chance to find some more wonderful fellow bloggers out there)
I will close the comments next Monday night, and thanks again to everyone who has been following me on this journey so far.......I won't be a hermit for much longer. I promise.

I am giving you all some extra time to enter, as many of you were off relaxing over the holiday weekend. Giveaway ends Wednesday at midnight!

I don't have a favorite post. I like your blog as a whole. I am an artist on etsy, too. I work full time and work on my art in my "free" time, and it's getting to be time to get on the baby train. And your blog gives me inspiration and hope that I will continue being creative despite AND because of children. lovely. lovely. lovely.

Hi Sam,
I'm so glad to hear your manuscript is coming along! That must be a huge relief. And it is always a great feeling to make things to show on the blog again! My very best to you!

I think "Glamour Shot Take 300" has got to be my favourite so far :)

I love all of your posts, family and art! I have to say though you have really inspired me to pick up my embroidery needle again and that is so fun!

I really love posts about your work because I love your work and that's why I keep visiting. And even my jealousy over your book isn't enough to keep me away ;)

Best of luck,
Laura

I love your work and have followed you on Etsy for more than a year. You are one of the artists I follow up on when I need to think "fresh". I am a fiber artist and am having my first art show in a few weeks. I have a shop on Etsy as well. I don't have a favorite post, but I do find it refreshing when you post about challenging projects and how you get through them. Take care and happy creating!

I don't really have a favourite post as I find them all interesting, but if pushed I guess it will be from last fall when you made the English schoolboys. They were so true to life in your wonderfully artistic way and it took me back years and years to my own school days in England.

I admit that my favorite blog post was on August 4th and there was a whole stack of books to go through! That post made me so happy! I love reading! And I am so excited about your book!

Your work is beautiful!

I just found your blog . . . by following some links in the flickr embroidery pool. So any "favorites" will be in the future.

ooo... entered just in the nick of time...

i love all that you make and since I'm running out of desk space with all my plushies, these days I'm always looking forward to getting something that I can hang on the wall. I own one of your fox portraits and it gets compliments all the time :) I haven't gotten into embroidery yet, but I'm hoping to one of these days- you're always an inspiration.

Keep up the great work!

I've enjoyed peeking in on your blog over the past year. I think the posts that I love the most would be the ones about your latest art pieces and your daily life of balancing art & kids. It's always nice to know that I'm not alone...that creative moms are thriving and making beautiful & inspiring art while raising their families. It's such a tender balance. Congratulations on your upcoming fabric line & book. I love your work and look forward to your new book!

Hmmmm...I'm posting on Wednesday 11:35PST...don't know if that qualifies. But I must say, I'm looking forward to Spring 2010 and the mummysam fabric line. I've said it before and will do so again, I love post about your sketch books about a day in the life of a new mom.
